Overview

Esker develops cloud solutions for the Office of the CFO. Its Source-to-Pay suite covers sourcing, supplier management (onboarding, compliance, risk), contracts, purchasing, accounts payable (AI-powered invoice capture, touchless processing, approval workflows), payments and supplier ESG performance tracking, with a mobile app for approving requests, invoices and contracts. Esker does not replace the ERP: the vendor says it integrates with more than 70 ERPs. Its AI, Esker Synergy AI, combines machine learning, generative AI and agents; the vendor states that it trains its own language model without sharing customer data. Esker was notably named a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Accounts Payable Applications.
